Lucana Film Commission
Founded in 2012, the Lucana Film Commission was set up to assist both Italian and foreign film and tv production companies who would like to shoot in Basilicata, offering facilities and support for all audiovisual productions who would like to film here. LFC is here to promote the historical, artistic and cultural heritage of Basilicata, as well as the local film industry facilities and professionals, creating new work opportunities for the people who work in this sector.

LFC helps applying for shooting permits, provides general and in depth information on available film funds and grants and offers consulting services for finding local talent, crew and locations. In 2020 LFC was reorganised to improve its support of the film companies who choose to film in Basilicata and to create a hub for high profile international meetings to help promote the region.

APA – Audiovisual Producers Association
The Audiovisual Producers Association represents over 80% of Italian audiovisual production and is constantly committed to strengthening the international visibility of the sector. In fact, since 1995 – with the help of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, then with ICE / ITA – it has organized the participation of companies in the main international trade fairs and events with the aim of making productions able to compete on an increasingly specialized market and to offer a prestigious showcase for Italian audiovisual content.
PGA – Producers Guild of America
The Producers Guild of America is a non-profit trade organization that represents, protects and promotes the interests of all members of the producing team in film, television and new media. The PGA Awards were one of the most reliable indicators for the Best Picture Oscar.

The Guild invests in its core values that benefit the industry at large. These values are rooted in facilitating employment of its members, advocating for sustainable practices in production that minimize human and environmental harm, ensuring a set culture that advances safety and creates viable pathways into the guild for the next generation of producers, particularly those from populations under-represented in the industry. Year-round it hosts a number of educational, mentoring and professional networking programs.
